About us

The Best Possible Diagnosis

Our founder, Uday Arora, has seen a loved one pass away on the operating table for a surgery that was in fact not necessary, as other doctors confirmed later on. Uday felt there should be a way to prevent this from happening to others.

With his father, Dr. N.C. Arora, a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon, he started building Ask A Doctor in order to provide easy access to a second medical opinion

Different Doctors can sometimes have a new angle or different approaches which can be complementary. Our Founders dreamt up a seamless digital experience, to empower patients to get the best possible diagnosis before any treatment or procedure.

Ask A Doctor was created  to offer an easy way for people to take a proactive approach to their health and to serve the underprivileged for free.

Sharing Experience

Ask A Doctor gathers both active and retired medical professionals.  Medical Specialists are asked to retire once they reach a certain age. These Doctors still have a wealth of experience and knowledge which should not go to waste.

Ask A Doctor allows retired medical professionals to continue to help and guide patients but also younger doctors. Our Founders wanted an easy way for medical professionals to ask a colleague's insights, creating a unique space where doctors can gather experience and advice in order to provide the best possible diagnosis and treatment to patients.

Trustworthy Health Information

Patients do not always get to ask the many questions they have to their doctor. Usually they then turn to the internet for more information. This can lead to confusion or misinformation. With Ask A Doctor, our founders wanted to allow everyone to directly ask a trustworthy specialist everything they wanted about a medical condition, easily, confidentially and without any barriers or judgement

The team of Doctors that are gathered on Ask A Doctor are vetted and internationally renowned for their exceptional training and experience.  They come from leading medical institutions such as Harvard University, AIIMS (All India Institute Of Medical Science) etc. and will take the necessary time to
give patients personalised and nuanced information and answer all the questions a patient may have.
